Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. All items supplied are new goods.

2. All prices shown are in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of GST.

3. Any item presented on this site have been provided in good faith with the understanding that will be available at the time of sale. If for any reason at all they are not, the buyer will be notified directly by the seller.

4. We reserve the right to change the specifications and price of any product without any notice.

5. We will strive to send goods as quickly as humanly possible and notify buyers with any delays incurred.

6. We reserve the right to alter or decline any orders made due to freight distribution complications or freight costs exceeding our postage allowance.

7. The purchaser must make their own evaluation as to the suitability of our products, the surface on which our products are to be installed onto, and the fixing anchors suitable for the intended use of these products.

8. Versaline Clotheslines is not responsible for any duties or taxes imposed by countries other than Australia in respect to delivery of international orders.

Versaline clotheslines are proud to be an Australian manufacturer. Our clotheslines are designed to be as maintenance free as possible, by avoiding the use of complicated mechanisms that can eventually fail to operate. Simplicity and versatility is the key to all Versaline products.

Warranty

1. Our products are guaranteed if any part of its manufactured products has failed to operate correctly due to defective material or faulty workmanship under normal domestic use, for a period of two (2) years from date of purchase, given fair wear and tear. The PVC cord is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year. Evidence of unfair usage or incorrect adjustment by the owner will void this promise.

2. To obtain service under guarantee, the product should be returned to Versaline Clotheslines, freight prepaid. Versaline Clotheslines will not be responsible for any cost in connection with freight or postage, or for expenditure necessary to dismantle the article, replace the part in position and re-assemble the article.

3. Proof of date or purchase must accompany the product.

4. Except as otherwise provided by law, this guarantee becomes invalid if, in the opinion of the company or its accredited service agents, the product has been misused, abused, damaged in transit or incorrectly installed.

5. DISCLAIMER: This warranty and the obligations of its manufacturer does not extend to incidental and/or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of this product.

6. Designs, specifications and colours are subject to change without notice.

7. Nothing contained in this warranty in intended to purport, to restrict, modify or exclude the operation of any of the provisions contained in Part V of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (amended) or any similar or substituted enactment.

Care and maintenance of your clothesline

Regularly inspect all components and check for wear and tear or damage. If there is any damage, parts should be replaced with original Versaline spare parts.

Your clothesline should be periodically wiped clean with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent.

We do not recommend the use of oil or lubricants on any part of the clothesline.

Returns Policy

You may return any item, for any reason within 30 days of purchase, at your expense, for a credit of the actual item only, less the shipping and a re-stocking fee.

If shipping fees are included in the price, it will be subtracted from your refund. A 15% re-stocking fee will also be subtracted from your refund. The item must be unused and be returned in its original carton and packaging, and packed carefully to avoid shipping damage. It must be received to us in its original, re-sellable condition. We also recommend insuring the item if you return it via the postal service. If the item is received to us in a damaged condition, or if parts are missing, we cannot issue you full credit for it. A refund assessment will be determined after inspection of the returned item, and a credit will be refunded.

You may return the item via whatever shipping method you prefer, courier, post office, etc.
